           Wholeness in Twelve • Embodied Earth Movement
Winter Session, January 25 - April 16: My Moving, Breathing, Evolving Being - Foundations for lively, full availability of movement, as we are in this moment. Rooting ourselves in our lineage with evolutionary & embryological explorations. Dancing with Your Lineage, Rooting Your Present, Freeing Your Future
Spring Session, April 19 - July 9: My Communicating Expressive Being building on the Winter Session we lay the Foundation for clear, dynamic communication. We will explore: Expanding Sensory vocabulary to more clearly hear our own compass and work with specific aspects of dynamics of life like: power, energy, force, time, space.  The session is designed to inform and support resilience and aliveness in all aspects of your being.
Autumn Session, September-December, Dates TBA: My Perspective Being: My Words show me my perspective. In this session we will look at language and other strategies we use in life and teaching to support whole, thriving living and learning. This is part pedagogy and part how we frame our own life, how we talk to ourselves. It is a reciprocal exchange between looking out and in as away to see both.


Wholeness in Twelve-General(skip below for class details and registration information)
One of the most powerful tools for finding ease in struggle, for addressing pain, and shifting obsolete but lingering patterns, is having a moment of pause in your day. The pause is like dropping a pebble into a pond. The pebble determines the ripple waves that follow.  Imagine the ripple effect on your day when you take a few minutes to meet yourself as you are, to flow, spring, jiggle, shake, luxuriate, linger, laugh and sing; a part of your day when you are immersed for a few moments in your own being, your voice, your life-force as part of the life force and beauty of the cosmos and nature.

Wholeness in Twelve offers a way to support the thriving nature of your being through experiencing/embodying:
       • Principles in your structure • the spiral flow of blood through your arteries and how you are sprung into uprightness (physical pains begin to fall away).
        • Principles of life and movement • support precedes movement, we yield to push and push to reach, time, space, shape and energy, (expressive freedom and emotional resilience flourishes)
 • Principles in Nature • how lichen survives in winter, how trees communicate, how breath is earth and lungs, (deep safety in the support of the earth takes root).

Essentially the textbook of Wholeness in Twelve is yourself, your relational self, which is movement and the world itself. Sensation, facts, and metaphor are your guides. As you explore, feel and know each amazing fact of your being and this universe, misconceptions about yourself, your worth, your ways of knowing are shed. Welcome Home!

We dance in wholeness to remember our nature.

This class is delicious, poetic, nourishing. It immerses you in the Language of Wholeness approach that is an alternative to hierarchical and unwittingly oppression based methods of teaching, (see below). This immersion affords you the chance to feel and develop your own access to seeing the wholeness, vibrancy and health of life in you and those around you, even in times of strain and struggle. It naturally translates to your own teaching, leadership methods.

WIT in the context of culture and personal ‘de-colonizing’, personal wholeness.
 
Do you ever find yourself comparing yourself to others, doubting your opinions or instincts, thinking your body needs improvement, spending time and resources fixing yourself? Perhaps the opposite, you find yourself sensing you are better than another, knowing more or believing your opinion without taking into consideration the world around you. These are expressions of the dominant hierarchy embedded in your being. The primary nourishment for the wheels of oppression is to sow doubt in you about your wisdom, your voice, your access to your internal compass and instead says look to this or that expert who knows better and can evaluate you and your performance.

A fundamental paradigm of oppression is to divide us and create false divisions that then create hierarchy in those divisions like: brain over body, thinking over feeling, men over women, white over black, humans over everything. We unknowingly feed the beast when we tell someone the correct way to stand (posture) or praise another as if we determine their value or when we dismiss our own or an other's voice. WIT helps you identify the hierarchy in you and gives you experience in alternative ways to be full in the world. WIT supports you to see the beauty and health that is already here that isn't determined by comparison or by an expert. Learning how you are made to move, express, feel, change, rage, weep, touch, is a radical act of love.

 Two ways to experience Wholeness in Twelve • Embodied Earth Movement:
1.  Become a member for a year of Wholeness.
2. A Twelve week session.



1. Membership Option Starts January 1st 2021
Recommended for depth of experience

A Year long (calendar year) 'Membership' gives you:
  • 3 - 12 week Wholeness in Twelve sessions - 12 minutes (sometimes longer), 3 times a week for 12 weeks
  • Class day short orienting, inspiring or simply beautiful readings are sent in the email with the class link.
    For each class you receive an email with the zoom link and support writing. The class email gives you: 1. The anchoring topic of the week – the meta-pattern, the root in our body, and other info and facts. 2. The Poetry, prose or image to evoke the material from a heartfull place. 3. (NEW) Resonances – From your contribution thru chat during class or texts or email to me of what resonates with you – key lines or experiences and also any material you suggest that applies to what we are exploring. 
  •  Periodic theory class. (Live or play recording at your own time), Two community discussion classes and Almost every other week full length hour classes.
  • 2 - One hour individual sessions
  • Access to the videos of classes and supplemental material all year long which includes preparatory and subject specific more in-depth tutorials - even when no live session is in place.
  • Supporting articles
  • A $50 discount toward a Living of Language of Wholeness Retreat.

Payment - Support: There are many ways to support this work. Here are a few:
  • Participate and engage: Join live or recorded classes, do the theory classes, read the emails, do the supplemental informational ‘youtubes’ and take advantage of resources.
  • Share your insights and responses: respond in chat, write email reflections, send related materials, poetry, resources
  • Explore the material in your work, life and teaching.
  • Acknowledge the work aloud like teach a Wholeness in Motion class or list Wholeness in Motion as part of your training
  • Invite others to participate
  • Contribute financially to support the cost of: services needed to deliver the work like zoom, vimeo, website fees, materials, books, studies, the future dreams like a retreat building and expanding access of this material into the world.  Suggested yearly fee is $600 or $50 a month or any amount possible for you from $0 to $100,000 :)

Cost and payment options:  Suggested contribution $250  total for the 12-week session and individual lesson or in three $ 85 installments. Your presence is more important than your payment. Please contact me if you would like to work with me to create another option for participating and contributing.
 

Wholeness in Twelve • Embodied Earth Movement information:
Times:  Usually 12-minute classes on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Live: 7:15 AM Central time/8:15 AM Eastern time or recording whenever you want.

There are two twelve-minute classes on Mondays and Wednesdays and a thirty minute class or hour class every other Friday. You can join live or use a recording of the class any time you want. Flexibility to do the class where and when you want to is a key part of the work. Being in community via the live class and the website classroom platform can be invaluable support.

  • Recuperative Fridays
  • Theory Classes gives more depth to some topic we are addressing in the shorter classes.
  • Tutorials are practical application videos on topics like rushing, gardening, bending.
  • Individual lesson gives you crucial personalized material
The live class will be via ZOOM.  Videos of classes, tutorials and other support material will be posted on The Wholeness in Twelve Classroom Page on this website. You will receive an invitation to join the classroom page once you have registered. Classes videos will be available for the duration of the session and one week following unless arrangements are made in advance.

Your Individual lesson will be scheduled with me at your convenience. It must be scheduled before the end of the series.
Recordings will be available for two weeks after the last session of the series.

  • I would never have known that such "simple" movement could have such a deep effect on my body and my mind. I am very glad to know this so that when I need it, I can do some simple moves and know it will be useful for me. I have also used some of these moves with my choir for warm up and focus.
  • As always, doing the class sets me up for a more calm, centered day. Even if I have a lot on in a particular day, I find that class gives me more resilience to approach the day as I choose, to look at it in a more objective, "interested" sense, and have the reactions that I intend.
  • The most awesome thing I have noticed with your class is that every time I have done it, I feel very peaceful, happy and centered for the start of the day and it carries on through the day. I find this quite magical! I don't feel like I am "doing" much but it sure is effective!!!
  • This format is working very well for me. It allows me to experience the material and then experiment with it throughout the day…I used the Monday invigorating exercise on a Wednesday afternoon break when I was feeling sleepy and it worked like a charm! I was alert and present for my marathon teaching schedule
