Wholeness in Motion and working with Babette

Wholeness in Motion, a Somatic Movement Approach,  helps people who are struggling in some aspect of their life (e.g., physical pain, fear, decreased agility, stress, lethargy) to find a way out of the struggle and gain more clarity and choice for themselves.  Generally, this is individual work.

Wholeness in Motion is also used with leaders, particularly music educators, to learn to include the whole person in their teaching approach, curriculum planning, and goals.  How do you lead so the student: has a voice, learns to learn on their own, is empowered and curious about their expressive artistry, listens to their own signals to guide their well-being in the pursuit of learning?

The on-going Living Wholeness 3 day a week Wholeness in Motion practice offers a spiral dance of movement, science, poetry, mythology, improvisation, meditation and mystery to savor and meet the foundational health and beauty of essential your cosmic being in steady rhythm and heartfull community. This is an effortless way to anchor to joy in turbulent times.

Who, What, How and Why WIM can help.
WIM as a Welcoming Safe Space

Lofty Goal

Wholeness in Motion is rooted in the ongoing exploration of the nature of being and the practical application of this knowledge to supporting people to fully live their life. Wholeness implies the individual formed by and informing the environment  it is part of: person & culture, nature, lineage, a cell & extracellular fluid, a moment & the flow of time. While information and methodology may change over time, Babette maintains a steady commitment to experiential learning, openness to new perspectives and respect for all life. Through classes, practices and programs participants are invited to access their unique harmonious way in the world and their ability to perceive, understand and respond to the signals they receive through their own system. In this way conditions are created in each person to evoke their inherent confidence, joy, intelligence, health and connection with the world around them.

The heart of Wholeness in Motion is the timeless dance between perceiving and understanding specific details while sustaining the context of great wholeness.
