Why wholeness matters now! One of the most transformational ideas of our time is Wholeness or living life rooted in a Wholeness worldview, a worldview that gives you the ability to perceive and feel a sense of inter-connection with the world, a sense that nature is vibrantly alive and intelligent and that within your own being you are whole.
If you are like me, someone who is rooted in western culture and language, wholeness may feel more like a beautiful idea than the foundational worldview from which you see the world and live your life. It makes sense that those of us with Western Civilization lineage struggle to know wholeness in ourselves and in the world, because 3500 years ago, with the advent of written Greek, humanity was amputated from and elevated over Nature and our being was divided into mind, body and spirit.
Of course there is great beauty within Western Civilization, but many of us are feeling the discord, destruction and personal struggles that are the symptoms of the divided, hierarchical worldview that is the foundation of modern western society. The shift to a wholeness worldview needs to happen within each individual for the broader society to begin to make consistent life-giving, equitable, sustainable policies and decisions.
For 30 years I have been exploring specific articulated strategies for dismantling internalized division and disconnection and awakening the much older, more accurate interconnected worldview. If you have specific symptoms from pain to fears to life struggles wholeness work with me, can offer you pathways through the struggle that leave you feeling more whole within yourself and the world. If you work in an organization or institution, WIM can help your work be consistent with a Wholeness perspective.
